Hey everyone!
My shop is Crow Shea!
It started out by me learning to crochet so I could make my kids hats for the winter. THEN people noticed them and asked me to make them for their kids, and then strangers asked where my hats came from and I got a few orders that way! So I started my facebook page!

I Work From Home!!!!
Fri Sep 13, 2013 11:23 pm by Michelle Warwick
So, that's kind of why I chose that name.
My business is From Home, and I am pretty new to the game. I have fallen in love with the hobby, and it helps me contribute to our household, which is a bonus!
I have links to my Pinterest, Facebook page, Etsy shop, and Twitter in my profile, so CHECK ME OUT!!!! Just don't become a weirdo stalker... that's kind of creepy.

I own MoonShadow Threads which isn't really around anymore... Well it is, but I am taking an extended break from it due to personal issues. BUT I plan on getting it back up and running soon. I did some crochet but I am mostly known for my Clay covered crochet hooks. You've probably seen them on Youtube's Bobwilson123 & Yolanda's crochet channels. One of my goals this winter is to become …

Welcome to the Knitter's Forum!
Hello! Welcome to the knitter's forum. Make yourself at home, feel free to ask questions, start discussions, and make some friends. I will help in any way that I can. I taught myself to knit about 20 years ago, still learning new techniques, and excited to be a part of this group!

Re: Welcome to the Knitter's Forum!
Yes! We could do that. Would videos work for that? Video and text? What would be preferred and most helpful? I could do a new technique a week. Start out with simple, straight-forward projects.

Re: Welcome to the Knitter's Forum!
Looks great! I started a hat, and my tension with the color changes were too tight, so I need to work on my tension. I'd love to try it again so I could have the hat for Winter.

Hello knitters! I've been knitting for 7-8 years now. I love it but haven't been able to knit lately. Everyone wants crochet from me lately. Haha!

Crochet does go so much faster! I love the look of knitted items so much, and I love that bag. I finally conquered cables this year. :)This mosaic hat is one of my favorites, of the few things I've made for myself.

I totally get it about that! I rarely keep anything I knit except for dishrags and mitties. Cables are fun, and I think that is a tea cozy..lol..I had to do a double take too, but it would be smart as a bag, I agree!

I had to go double-check. Missed the spout and handle! Looked like a gift bag. Beautiful either way.

It is! It looked intimidating, but once I read through the pattern, I realized how simple it was! Found it on Ravelry, and the pattern is called Mermaid Slouchy TamJessica Flowers wrote:I love the hat, Jamie! It's mosaic knitting, right?

Re: Welcome to the Knitter's Forum!
I learned loom knitting before any of the other wonderful yarn techniques, and I mostly crochet now, but at this moment I have a ruffle scarf on my needles and just finished a fair aisle hat with Nature's choice cotton, I'm so please with it, I'm not sure I can part with it :-D

Re: Welcome to the Knitter's Forum!
I have found that i'm much better at knitting on a loom! I am slowly getting better on bamboo needles and I figured out how to fair isle on the loom, I finished one hat and next is a cowl, I want to do fingerless gloves, but I know I can't do those on a loom, so I may have a million questions for the gurus! :-D

Re: Welcome to the Knitter's Forum!
Hi there!
I'm still learning to knit. I asked and received one of those Learn to Knit kits for Christmas a few years back. I guess it's been about 5 years now? Anyway, for whatever reason I just about jumped right in with dpn's and socks. I love Very Pink dot com and her videos. The pair of socks I love making best came from her.
Presently, I just finished putting together my first knit baby sweater with a hood but am thinking my button selection may not work. I've pulled up a tutorial on how to crochet buttons so I can make my own. It was almost fully knit!
