My shop is Crow Shea

Sat Sep 21, 2013 11:05 pm by Dawn Crow Shea

Hey everyone!

My shop is Crow Shea!

It started out by me learning to crochet so I could make my kids hats for the winter. THEN people noticed them and asked me to make them for their kids, and then strangers asked where my hats came from and I got a few orders that way! So I started my facebook page!

My Facebook Shop is http://www.facebook.com/crowshea
And My webpage (which just links to my …

I Work From Home!!!!

Fri Sep 13, 2013 11:23 pm by Michelle Warwick

So, that's kind of why I chose that name.

My business is From Home, and I am pretty new to the game. I have fallen in love with the hobby, and it helps me contribute to our household, which is a bonus!

I have links to my Pinterest, Facebook page, Etsy shop, and Twitter in my profile, so CHECK ME OUT!!!! Just don't become a weirdo stalker... that's kind of creepy. Wink

I own MoonShadow Threads which isn't really around anymore... Well it is, but I am taking an extended break from it due to personal issues. BUT I plan on getting it back up and running soon. I did some crochet but I am mostly known for my Clay covered crochet hooks. You've probably seen them on Youtube's Bobwilson123 & Yolanda's crochet channels. Moderator Applications!!

Post by Tanya Naser on Fri Sep 13, 2013 7:08 pm

If you want to be a moderator to any section of the forum, please let me know right here! Make sure it's something you are passionate about and that you have the time to check in at least once a day to address issues in your chosen area and help out in general.

You can ask for more than one area!! I need about two mods per forum. Once that forum is filled with two, it will be closed to new recruits until one mod steps down.

Gotcha!! Let's leave it to one per person and if we have anything that wasn't asked for we can tack you into more. Smile

I will have a moderator room where you can post anything you might have a question about or want to bring to my attention. I have yet to do that!

You give yarny points to people that you vote up and take yarny points away from people you vote down Smile The thanks button I think is the same? Not sure! And it's right there at the top right of every other post beside your own--next to the multi-quote thing.

Would you be able to help out in the hand holding area since you know your way around a forum? I need someone who can sticky tutorials on how to make post, how to host youtube vids, and pretty much how to move around in here.

    Up for it?

I also need someone to help set up tutorials for mods on how to move topics, how to split topics, how to lock topics, how to open topics, etc.

Okay--I set you up in all the forums where I think you will shine! Most of them are the places where people will be needing the most help and where I need some help myself setting up stickies on how things are run. I think the one place that needs the most help right now is in the moderator area Smile Think you could start there helping the new mods figure out where things are and how to use them?
